That was the week that was...

The first Welsh Comedy Festival is done and dusted, it was a great success and what a time we all had. Big Thanks to the festival committee, Dan Mitchell, Dean Burnett, Kevin Coleman, John Enigma, Jools, Wes Packer, Rhod Gilbert, Matt Price and a massive thanks to Sausages for driving me all over the shop for the last 8 months.

Thanks to all the comics that performed at the festival, thanks to all the venues for letting us loose in their halls and clubs, thanks also to Colin and Neil of the BBC for coming out to film the festival, thanks to Mike of One Acre for photographing everything in sight, thanks to Carl, Rachael and Craig of Ty Hafan for their support, thanks to the dozens of people who sent emails of support, and finally thanks to all the media that gave us a mention leading up to the festival - The Echo, Western Mail, Wales On Sunday, Metro, Buzz, Rhondda Leader, Radio Wales, Red Dragon, Real Radio, Radio Freeway, Big Cardiff and News Wales websites to name a few.

Finally a huge thanks to the public who turned out en masse to have a butchers at the festival. See if you can spot yourself amongst the crowd in these pics...

Dan and Neil 31...

Hey. Can't stop. Got to go and make a few more friends on Facebook. It's the perfect substitute for actually having a real conversation with an actual person. I don't even have to leave the house. They type. Then I type back.

Nothing too long though, because it takes much longer to type than it does to talk. So I take longer to tell them less. Isn't that amazing? And I have so many friends now that I haven't got time to contact all of them. But it makes me feel popular knowing I have sixty friends.

Having said that, they're not all actually friends. I typed in their name because I remembered it from school. And I was bored. And they sent me a message. Then I realised why we hadn't stayed friends in the first place. And I can upload photos. So the few people that are interested (and stalkers/Interpol/FBI) can look at what I've been up to. Me in front of the Eiffel Tower. Me with a cocktail with a sparkler in it. I mean, I hate looking at other people's holidays photos, if I'm honest, but mine are really funny.

Anyway. I don't think I'll be moving far today. Just to get more biscuits. Now, what was the name of the girl with blonde hair I met at the bus stop when I was twelve..?
