Cracker Ass Comedy - Online Comedy Broadcasting. Cardiff

It's been quite some time since I updated this here website, and judging by some of the emails I've been receiving, quite a few people are speculating as to whether or not I am still alive. For example -

Well Andy, first of all you're an idiot as my car is a heap of crap and secondly, I'm alive and well(ish). The fact is at the start of April my girlfriend gave birth to our first child and it's been sleepless chaos ever since.

Couple that together with trying to organise The Big Issue Cymru Comedy Festival (6th - 14th July) and you might understand how I've had so little time recently that Doctor Emmett Brown himself couldn't help me out.

Speaking of which, the comedy festival website should be up and running by the middle of next week complete with a full list of performers, venues and ticket details. Most of the problems I've encountered along the way during organising the festival have come from performers agreeing to appear but then not getting back to me promptly. Just one example, Howard Marks aka Mr. Nice.

I would dearly love to see Howard Marks play a gig at the festival and so would many others, and he agreed to appear at the festival when I contacted him via his forum. Unfortunately that was a few weeks ago and he hasn't got back to me yet to organise the exact date, so I need your help. Yes, you.

Follow this link to Howard's forum and you'll see the message I've left for him. You would be doing me, The Big Issue Cymru and the Welsh fans of Howard's a big favour by posting an encouraging message in that forum about how much you would like to see him perform and that he should contact me to get it sorted. Go on mate, do us a favour.

UPDATE - Howard is now confirmed for Saturday 7th July at CF10 The Cardiff Student Union and will also be attending the opening night party at The Hard Rock Cafe!

More details about the festival to follow over the next couple of weeks and even some chances to win tickets to the grand opening night at The Hard Rock Cafe!

Oh, and for those of you who knew about my baby's birth, thanks for the congratulatory emails, most kind of you.
