The information superinterweb has been launching careers left right and centre recently.

Namely Gnarls Barkley who have spent so much time at No.1 that Bryan Adams has bought and shut down 20 pubs in a blind fury. Also, the likes of Sandi Thom who started broadcasting her gigs over the net when her car broke down (her publicist slashed her tyres) and is now moving units by the shitload with her song 'I wish I was a punk rocker with flowers in my hair'.

Strange wish when you consider the fact that other punks have probably eaten people for less. So what the hell has all this got to do with anything? THE CRACKER ASS CONTEST HAS COMMENCED!

Have a crack at stardom and be the next big thing to come from the net. We already have several contestants for the worlds very first online comic video vote which will begin in our forum.

There are no rules on ability, video length or how long you've been performing comedy and the finalists will fight it out in a live, filmed gig in Cardiff in September.

If you want to vote on a comic, view the profiles and decide on your favourite then mosey over to the forum to vote.

If you want to enter the competition then you have a few choices.

• Get filmed by Cracker Ass Comedy.

• Upload your own video to Google Video or You Tube yourself and send us the link.

• Send us your video via post and we'll upload it for you. Email send@crackerasscomedy.com

The eventual winner will probably recieve a cash prize depending on how flush I am by September, but most of all he/she will be crowned as the first ever Cracker Ass Comedy champion in the first ever internet comedy vote.
