I've been doing stand-up comedy for a little more than half an hour,
over the past year. Whenever I get the chance to go do stand-up at
open mic nights around Houston Texas I'm there telling jokes and
making people laugh in five minute segments. This month (July 2006)
I'm doing open mic night five weeks in a row and each time I am doing
totally new, never before tried material. My comedy heroes include
Bill Hicks, Bill Cosby, John Cleese and David Sedaris. Topics I enjoy
using in my comedy include politics, weight loss, masturbation, sex
and TV. I may live in Texas but that doesn't mean I like Larry the
Cable Guy or George W. Bush. My goal is to start doing the occasional
professional gig here and there and eventually work as a comedy
writer.
