Hi, my name is Kevin. I was born in Wilmington, Delaware on December
16th, 1979. Yes. Delaware. This is likely where many people would stop
reading, but bear with me.
I moved overseas when I was 7 and came back to the states when I
graduated from highschool. This departure, and subsequent return, was
ultimately the catalyst for who I've become.
You see, upon arriving back in the U.S. of A, I was met with a
tremendous level of cultural shock. This shock translated into a
unique perspective on life in our country.
The long and the short of it; I am fairly bitter and very jaded. There
is a good chance I don't like you at all.
The good news? The cynicism that is such an integral part of my being
plays very well in Peoria, occasionally getting a few laughs.
I only ask that you don't take too much of what I write seriously.
It's my way of turning my own pain into something productive and
positive. Most people disagree, but I'm of the opinion that the best
comedy derives itself from life's most uncomfortable situations.
You just need to be able to separate yourself from your own
circumstances, and view them the way an outsider might.
Life is FAR too fucked up to take everything so seriously.
In case you're interested, I'm currently living in Chapel Hill, North
Carolina. I'm single. While I generally prefer women, sometimes you do
what you need to do to pay the bills, and let me tell you… actually...
