Neath, South Wales. Birthplace of Welsh rugby, Katherine Jenkins, a seemingly endless supply of self-pitying drunks and the most likeable comic since the Beano, Simon Oates.

Known as the "Pocket Rocket" (to himself) and "that little chubby one" (to everyone else), Simon started on the road to his stand-up horizon at a Poncho open-mic at the Hawaiian, Cardiff in Feb, 2006. He has since garnered a reputation as one of the most likeable and funny performers on stage, performing at a number of different venues.

When not performing, Simon is most likely to be found indulging in his two favourite pastimes, Gregg's pasties and satisfying women everywhere (by leaving them alone).
